Dal Forno’s Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2016 is the result of the same rigorous criteria adopted to produce Amarone.
From the 2002 vintage, the grapes that become Valpolicella undergo a drying period of about a month and a half. The result is an intense and aromatic wine, of a different category than that in which history and territory place it. On the palate it presents notes of vanilla, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, chocolate, sweet spices and jam. This is a wine suitable for accompanying and enhancing fatty dishes based on red meat, grilled meat and braised meats and which goes well with mature and characterful cheeses.
